YMC - Young Musicians Course (ages 6 to 7)

Course Description:

Winnipeg Yamaha Music Young Musicians Program

The Young Musicians Course is a great way for 6 to 7 year old children to begin a lifetime enjoyment of music. The three-year curriculum develops musicianship and keyboard playing skills with wonderful materials written specifically for beginners of this age.

During the weekly one hour lesson students will enjoy a variety of activities that include:

  • Singing Songs
  • Solfege Singing
  • Ear Training
  • Rhythm Training
  • Keyboard playing
  • Music Theory
  • Ensemble Training
  • Improvisation & Composition
  • Performances
